Public agencies, including cities, counties, special districts, joint powers authorities, state agencies or departments, or other political subdivisions of the State of California, federally recognized Indian tribes, and eligible nonprofit organizations, as defined in Government Code section 66905.9.
The principal goal of the California Tahoe Conservancy's Proposition 1 grant program is to support implementation of the Lake Tahoe Environmental Improvement Program. Funding supports multi-benefit stormwater, watershed and ecosystem restoration, aquatic invasive species, forest health, and sustainable communities projects. Round 3 provides funding for Stormwater Quality and Ecosystem and Watershed Management projects.
